"Most of everything that human do is to reach the absolute. It could be by love, drug, art, sex, meditation (more concretely). The long road all lead to this goal in this life or several ones. There is the more concrete road of the chakras. When those chakras are activated, the spiritual journey begin more consciously. One cannot denied that there is a movement in its body. It could happens accidently. Someone, for instance, who is sensible to the beauty could fall in awe in front of a blue sky. It could also happens in front of a beautiful painting. Some people could faint in front of a strong art painting ! Love is also a way that the absolute try to lead the ego to something which is beyond the egoist life.
