Life is marvellous... but we lack comparaison cause there is only life.
When we talks about happyness, of course as being it is necessary limited by the contingence of time and space, meaning that this happy moments are just ephemere.
But which animals, including humans, are the most happy?
I would say that the most happy are dogs and dolphins.
Birds seems happy when they plane against the wind, but their brain are not sophisticated enough to really live it fully.
Human baby are very happy but they are not conscious to be.
Cats are not really happy, they are like women. Most of the time they are agitated and worried too much.
Women can be happy when they are in love, at the beginning, but it doesn't last cause they spolied evrything by questions, bourgeoises preoccupations.
Men are also happy when they are in love. They can be happy if they have sex. But sex is a very ephemere extasis. A false extasis that doesn't last and beyong every orgasm there is a bigger one, so one can't never find the end of it.
Like Serge Gainsbourg sing it : "L'amour physique est sans issue" ("Physical love has no ending road", approximated translation).
Junky can be probably more happy with their drugs than with sex.
Having say that, the real happyness is to awake to our real nature, but even that is reveal as a mystery.
Therefore it is better to abandon this concept of happyness cause life is not a concept.
That is why the philosophe Michel Onfray has false believe of concept... At the beginning of his career, he was promoted hedonist. He was recalled a time where he reached extasy eating a strawberry. If you need an object to be happy, a strawberry or a philosophy concept, your happyness is necessary limited to this experience, therefore is not real. It would last the time to eat a strawberry.
Like every experience of happyness, when the time would be over, your happyness would disappear.
But my friend, forget all that, all those writing are also a concept.
